Glenn’s passion to become a performing artist began in 1968 when his father introduced him to the guitar and soon after started taking lessons. In 1981, while attending Buffalo State College, he discovered the world of open mics and coffee houses. In 1988 Glenn began his career as a third grade teacher at Key Largo Elementary and began honing his skills a children’s entertainer. Glenn has touched the lives of hundreds of thousands of Western New York youngsters with his music. Since 1997, he has sold in excess of 14,000 CDs under his own label (Glenn Colton Shows).

The years of 1994-2005 have been a time of growth as he has created and marketed high energy, live educational concerts to elementary schools. Today Glenn Colton enjoys a career as a songwriter, performing artist, and music publisher.
